Join us at our crescent-shaped Chef's Counter to visit the crescent-shaped strip of land in northwestern Italy is the country's third smallest region, Liguria. Its territory is crossed by the Alps and the Apennines mountain range. Its Mediterranean coastline is known as the Italian Riviera and is known for its colorful fishing villages. On the western coast, the Riviera di Ponente is home to the vintage resort, Sanremo.
Liguaria is said to be the birthplace of ravioli. It also is known for focaccia, sometimes called Ligurian bread. Luguiria's sea-side, mineral-rich soil breeds an abundance of herbs, particularly basil and rosemary, along with wine grapes, olive oil, pine nuts and porchini mushrooms.
Each course of our Liguria menu draws from the regional heritage and will be paired with a local wine.
